In , British author J. Rowling published the first of seven novels in the iconic Harry Potter series. Six years later, Warner Bros. To increase excitement, EA Games released video games concurrently with these films. The games follow the movie plots and feature cinematic sequences and video cutscenes to explain the more complex aspects of Rowling's story. In Sorcerer's Stone, players act as Harry in a sandbox or free roam style of gameplay, in which they explore and collect items, solve puzzles, and engage in duels or combat.
Reviewers like to say that bad licensed games are for hardcore fans only, but that's a load of crap. Fans should be pissed about this game. I tried to think of the positive parts of the Half-Blood Prince, so I could write a balanced review, and all I could come up with was the fact that I like Harry Potter not like that, shut up. When the only positive part of your game is that it has a trademark attached to it, then you've made a bad game. It's not that Harry Potter is broken, it's that EA has managed to take a world brimming with magic and turn it into the most tedious, mundane game possible.
In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Dumbledore prepares Harry for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching as Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defences and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information about Voldemort's power. Note:- Locations in italics are optional areas that are not necessary to visit to complete the game. But unlike the previous game, players can now also use the motion sensing and vibration features to brew potions. Potion brewing involves following a complex recipe one step at a time. The steps include picking up vials of liquid, shaking them by shaking the Wii Remote until they froth, and tipping the Wii Remote to pour it into the mixture, being very careful not to pour in too much.

Much of the game is walking around Hogwarts , finding objects and swapping them for other objects, such as swapping wizard cards for gobstones , then gobstones for Ginny's game, then taking the game to Ginny. There's also potion making, which is fun, and mini-games of exploding snap, gobstones and Wizard Sittles , all great fun too. The graphics are fantastic, very clear and detailed, and this makes the wandering around looking for various things very enjoyable. Quidditch , it's just too hard,it moves too fast and the the touch screen doesn't quite seem to respond fast enough to catch the snitch, and it gets really frustrating because you can't progress until you win the game.
